What leaves your phone amounts to a few numbers.

Tonalume calculates everything on your phone. The free readings need no network at all. Your profiles, your friends, your events stay on your device. A full analysis does travel to our server, but only as calculated numbers.

The profiles, friends, and events you enter are stored locally. We never receive a copy. They ride along with your phone's own backup, at Apple or Google, like everything else it holds. Deleting them in the app, or uninstalling the app, removes that data.

Two optional permissions exist only to avoid typing the same information twice:

• Contacts (read): import a friend from your address book. Contacts are read only during import and never leave the device.
• Calendar (read): import an event from your calendar, under the same conditions.

You can refuse or revoke these permissions at any time in system settings. The app remains fully usable with manual entry.

No analytics, no trackers, no advertising. We do not sell or share any data. There is none to sell. The free app asks for no email and no password. A Google or Apple account only comes in when you buy something, and it is what brings that purchase back on a new phone. When something breaks, a technical report reaches us. The next section says what it holds.

If the app crashes, a technical report reaches us. It says where the code stopped, on which device model, with which system and app version. Measurements of the same kind flag abnormally slow starts and network errors.

These reports contain no name, no birth date, and none of what you typed. If you have an account, they carry its technical identifier, the one that lets us understand why a purchase went wrong. They exist to fix things, nothing else. They are hosted by our processor Sentry, on servers in the European Union, and delete themselves after 90 days.

This marketing site is static. Fonts are self-hosted, nothing loads from a third-party service, and the site includes no analytics, cookies, or trackers.

Some analyses are bought one at a time. There is no subscription. The rest of the app is free and stays offline. Here is what happens when you buy one.

• No identifying data leaves the device. The request contains calculated numbers only. No name, no birth date, no address book. First names are inserted back into the text on your device.
• An account is required to buy. You sign in with Google or Apple, and that account is what returns your purchases on another phone. We store no password and no email address.
• Our processors. Google (Firebase Authentication) and Apple for identity, RevenueCat to verify purchases, Microsoft Azure to generate and store the analyses.
• Analyses are generated and stored in the European Union. An analysis is written once, then kept so we can show it to you again, word for word.
• Payment goes through your phone's app store. We never see your payment method.
• You can erase everything from the app settings. Your analyses, your purchases and your account go together, and nothing can be restored afterwards.

You can delete your account and everything tied to it straight from the app. Open Settings, tap "Delete my account and data", then confirm.

This erases, permanently and with no way to restore it: the analyses we keep on our servers, the server-side record of your purchases, and the account itself. Deletion is immediate, with no retention period.

Two things sit outside our reach. The free-mode data never left your phone and is removed by uninstalling the app. The purchase history stays with Google or Apple, who keep it under their own legal and accounting rules.

If you no longer have the app, reinstall it and sign back in with the same Google or Apple account to reach the deletion screen. If anything goes wrong: privacy@gissit.com.

Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, and deletion. Nothing from the free app leaves your device, so you exercise them directly: edit or delete your entries, or uninstall the app. For your analyses, your purchases, and your account, see "Account and data deletion" above. This policy will change as the app changes. The date below indicates the latest version. If a substantial change occurs, the update will happen before the relevant feature goes live.
